| This is the tissue cover side for the small boxes, make four sides and one top peice, this is NOT FSL please see instructions, read them through so you will understand how to stitch out and assemble. hoop one layer of felt with material on top....First it will stitch out the outline...stop remove hoop, but do not remove material from hoop, and then you need to trim around as close to the stitching as possible. Return the hoop to the machine. Then it will stitch the "quilting" if you wish you can use the same color for the tack down stitching and quilting, ( it will show red and then the background color) but it will stop between to allow you to do the trimming. Make four sides Now do the same steps for the top, making one. Next go to your sewing machine and stitch the four sides to the top with a satin stitch....after you can begin to sew the sides together. The trick is to alway "fold" the rest of the tissue cover away and stitch from top to bottom of each side. |
