Gift number three is a glasses case which co-ordinates with the set which
includes a purse size tissue holder, the glasses case, checkbook cover,
credit cover, and a purse...watch for all the peices as they are put up
cut a double sided quilted material for
the top and bottom, then hoop your
stablizer, ( I used Vilene, because it
washes out) then take it to your
machine, stitch #1 which shows red, it is
the placement stitching...set your
material centered where this stitching is,
you can use a bit of Quilt basting spray
if you choose.  Next it will stitch your
material in place.  Trim around the top.
You will see there is a sideways stitch
that is where you start and finish with
your trimming

Next it will stitch out the satin stitching
for the top area, ( on the front the word
"glasses")

Next on the front you will continue with
the designs until you get to the last stop,
which will allow you to  line up the front
and back before they are stitched
together.  I use pins to "straighten" them
up and then pin on the side to hold them
and then stitch
Remove from hoop and trim the
outside material from the satin
stitch down and around
Now use fray check or stop fray
around the satin stitching, this will
give it a bit of "strength" to keep
the stitches in place with repeated
usage.  If you want to add a
closure you can use Velcro, or put
a button hole on the back side, and
an button on the inside front
